Karen Day

My mother taught yoga at the YWCA when she was younger and now I encourage her to keep up with her practice. I also encourage others to practice so they too can enjoy the benefit of yoga on a daily basis.

It has changed my life and I truly believe it will change yours for the better.

I have taken the National Registered Yoga Training, which gave me the RYT title of a nationally trained yoga instructor. I am constantly taking new classes, exploring new techniques and finding classes that will help me to understand more about the body.

I love being a mom, I love gardening, quilting, of course yoga, having a good time with friends and reading.

My Yoga Intention

I teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga. I love to use the skills and techniques I’ve learned in my training, but especially I want to share the Love I have felt and gained from my own practice. Each class is specific to the needs of my students. I rely on my intuition as to where and how to be guided for each individual.

I teach an opening up to the heart with grace while having the intention of placing body, mind and heart in alignment with the flow of all things.

I focus on drawing deeper inward yet with less effort to the muscular energy of the body, while strengthening, and finding stability.

I love to explore the possibility of coming to the center of things and getting deep into the core of the body, so you can feel what its like to enjoy your true inner self, whether its on a physical or mental level.

I encourage my students to direct the breath to the core, to get a sense of your true breath, PRANA (life-force).

My intention is to assist you to a place of a better understanding and find your own peace and strength, and to create an attitude of grace, ease, and a fullness of the Inner Self so your true inner luster of Spirit naturally shines forth.

(The light and love that shines within my Heart, honors, salutes, and greets that same beautiful light that shines within yours.)

Namaste
